Abstract :
The influence of several distribution feeder parameters on harmonic resonance is investigated. These parameters include transformer and conductor impedance magnitude and phase angle, conductor type (cable or overhead), conductor arrangement (three-phase, four- wire or single-phase), and the possible interruption of the neutral conductor in delta-star transformers. Qualitative results are obtained from simulations with single-harmonic polluting loads; the results are further refined by simulations with polluting loads containing many harmonics.
