Abstract :
It has become a more expectant outlook trend that the large-sized hydro-generator´s stator uses a inner-cooling mode. In this paper, working fundamentals and running characters of the self-looping evaporative-cooling (SLEC) system, a kind of new inner-cooling mode, are explained in details. Associated with testing results, its working performance, technical features and demands are summarized. Finally, reliabilities and economical efficiencies of the SLEC system are discussed.
