Abstract
The single phase switched reluctance motor has been received considerable interest in variable speed drives because of its simple and robust structure and low manufacturing cost. So, its development and application have widely been studied with the help of the power electronics technology and analysis by computer. Disk type single phase switched reluctance motor use the axial and radial flux simultaneously. It is 6 stator poles with \´/spl sqsub/\´ type core, magnetized by a circular type excitation coil of single phase and an outer-rotor of 6 salient poles with "/spl boxvl/" type. The inductance profile of switched reluctance motor is an important parameter in the verification of the design and performance of the driver. Its profile is a function of rotor pole position. In this paper, the flux linkage measurement system was designed and manufactured with rotor pole positions. From the measured data, the linkage flux was calculated versus current, inductance profile, co-energy and torque.
