Abstract :
This paper presents study of forces applied to transformer windings with their magnetic center being misalignment. By contrasting magnetic field of a helicoidal winding at different circumferential positions with their winding ampere-turn distributions, a 2D method is given in approximate calculation of a transformer with helicoidal winding.
