  • Abstract
    This paper presents a model to study axial vibrations of transformer windings. Mass-spring system is used in the model. Nonlinearity of material is taken into account. Calculation of a transformer winding reveals that certain misalignment of magnetic center between high and low voltage windings may be hazard to winding during sudden short-circuit procedure.
