Abstract :
This paper studied out a design and simulation of LIPT. When LIPT is designed and simulated, it is very important that the parameters are estimated. And, these values are obtained from an equation to be presented. LIPT has a high leakage inductance that is produced at the primary side, so it has to be compensated as a serial-resonant capacitance inserted into the circuit of the primary. The most significant matter of this design process is to decide optimal values of compensating capacitors for the high leakage inductance. And then, this paper shows the designed values and the characteristic of LIPT for the variation of load and resonant capacitor capacity.
