Abstract :
The synchrodrive is the important part in the gantry moving type milling machining centers. An adaptive control technology is used in this paper, and through measuring the state errors between the master axis and the slave, the master and slave axis controller´s parameters will be modified by the feedback. The auxiliary control caused by the feedback resulting from the adaptive control law will keep synchronous with the master and slave axis in velocity. The linear permanent magnet synchronous servo motors (LPMSM) are used as driving parts to bring their high-speed dynamic response ability into play. The results of simulation show that the proposed scheme has the advantages of strong robustness and low synchronous error.
