Abstract :
This paper presents an improved meshless local Petrov-Galerkin method to solve electromagnetic field problems. The local weighted residual form, together with the penalty approach, is used to develop the discrete equations. The method is truly meshless since there are no "meshes" for both constructing shape functions and assembling stiffness matrixes. Detailed numerical results are presented to validate the proposed method in solving engineering field problems.
