Abstract :
A novel protecting method for motor´s over current is introduced, the most important characteristic of this method is that the value of resistance of each phase calculated is adopted as the criterion whether the protecting device acts and provides protection or not. PICI6F877 is adopted as the center of the hardware circuit, the other related circuits and programs are designed, and fast Fourier transform (FFT) is adopted to calculate the value of resistance of each phase.
