Contributions of the IEC to the development of electrical machines
Abstract :
The most important technical trends and developments in the field of electrical machines and drives are listed. Besides TC 2, rotating machinery, five other Technical Committees of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) are concerned. These committees are responsible for developing in a timely manner the standards on which the design, production and application of the future machines and drive systems has to be based.
