Abstract :
In this paper, a new iterative joint detection and decoding algorithm is proposed for coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) signals in multiple-input multiple- output (MIMO) channels. The proposed receiver is comprised of a MIMO maximum a posteriori (MAP) detection followed by parallel soft-in soft-out decoders. The proposed receiver is used for turbo coded MIMO-OFDM signals. Through various simulations, it is confirmed that the proposed receiver is fast and efficient even in high rank MIMO channels.
