Abstract :
Previous work on space-time transmit diversity (STTD) and most space-time (ST) coding schemes has been restricted to quasi-static fading channels. In this paper, we study the impact of time-selective Rayleigh fading channels on the average signal-to-interference plus noise ratio (STNR) and BER performance of Alamouti transmit diversity scheme. We also present the computer simulation results of Alamouti scheme over fast-fading channels. And through simulations we compare the BER performance of two maximum-likelihood (ML) decoding approaches.
