Abstract
In this paper, we try to address how to enable QoS support in global replicated Web systems. To solve this problem, we present a framework for building global replicated Web systems and select/design the scheduling algorithms used in the framework. Through the simulations, we demonstrate that our presented framework and scheduling algorithms can succeed in enabling differentiated services in global replicated Web systems under different workload levels. We also investigate the effects of some important parameters on the performances of our presented framework and scheduling algorithms.
