Abstract
A new technique of optical generation of tunable microwave/mm-waves is proposed where the phase of the generated wave can be optically controlled. Analytically, it can be shown that the phase of the generated microwave/mm wave can be varied continuously from 0 to 2π radian and is independent of the frequency of the generated signal.
