Abstract
A 4-wavelength 256-QAM WDM SOA amplified transport system using light injection technique over an 80-km SMF link is proposed and demonstrated. SOA-induce distortion and crosstalk can be reduced employing light injection technique, and thus systems´ performance can be further improved.
