Abstract :
The three-wave interactions (second harmonic generation and parametric amplification of light), photoinduced during all optical poling of glass, have been investigated. Theoretical consideration of the phenomena in a bulk glass shows the interesting peculiarities of the process of three-wave interactions which lead to the two-beam conversion of light in optically transformed mediums. During the experimental investigation of the phenomena in the bulk oxide glass the complicated kinetics of the formation of second-order susceptibility grating has been detected. Some properties of the phenomena have been studied and the possible mechanisms of the dynamics of processes are discussed.
