Abstract :
Vortices around nodes where the wave function vanishes are studied in the potential scattering. They can be visualized in quantum streamlines, which follow the directions of current densities in space. We consider an incident particle with mass m and total energy E is scattered by a spherical potential-well. We shall study the vortex formation and its evolution at low incident energies.
