Abstract :
We report an all-fiber referencing scheme for intensity-modulated fiber optic sensors capable of canceling the noise induced due to random perturbations along the fiber optic links and source power fluctuations. We describe the proposed scheme and present experimental results showing its feasibility. We provide general guidelines for its proper use.
