Abstract
Multi-agents based computer immune system (MACIS) is an implementation of mechanisms of biological immune system for intrusion detection. In MACIS, the clonal selection is implemented by parthenogenetic algorithm, which is more appropriate for intrusion detection than the traditional genetic algorithm. The mechanisms of co-stimulation and clonal suppression involve the innate immune system and the negative selection, which ensures a low false positive rate.
