Abstract :
The author, in this paper, first analyzes industry data in technological advancement by using Cobb-Douglas´s production function before drawing a conclusion on them. Then he forecasts them by grey model GM (1,1) and inspects late error for an accurate result. After that he make an analysis of industry technological advancement in China in 2000 by forecasting data. And finally, he puts forward some pieces of advice, designs a general model piece for forecasting sequence of GM (1,1), and compile the calculator procedure on Visual Basic. All of the results in calculation coincide with practice.
