Abstract
Design strategies of pilot patterns based on two-dimension sampling theory for OFDM wireless system in highly frequency selective Rayleigh fading channel have been analyzed. The analysis and simulation results show that hexagonal pattern is the optimal pilot pattern for OFDM system based on two-dimension sampling theory.
