Abstract
A Thermal Management System for Electric Vehicles (EV) based on the Peltier-Effect Heat Pumps was designed, fabricated, installed into an EV and its performance was tested. A mathematical model was derived from this system and was simulated using a SPICE program. The results show the applicability of the Peltier-effect heat pumps for the temperature regulation of an EV.
