Abstract
A head mounted goggle type eye detection device with a liquid crystal display was developed for investigation of eye tracking functions of neurological disease patients. The system was based on the image analysis of eye movements and this method precisely detected eye movements. The head mounted display showed a visual target created by a PC in front of subject´s eyes. We evaluated eye tracking function during some ocular tasks. Eye tracking test using a movable target was performed on Parkinson´s disease patients and normal subjects and parameters which may be useful for diagnosis of the disease were obtained.
