Abstract :
In this paper we introduce a new model for energy consumption evaluation based on experimental results obtained from various wireless network interfaces. Using this model, we can obtain an upper bound for the power consumption of the wireless network interfaces according to the duration of the communications and the amount of data transferred to and from the device.
