Abstract :
This paper describes methods of the increasing the service life of multi-beam electron vacuum devices (MEVD) and particularly the klystron KU-383 used in the transmitters for space communication. These transmitters should keep only be obtained after long-time operation tests under real conditions. This paper contains new data about the service life of the klystron used in space communication stations. Information on the service life test of the klystron is received from the stationary station, in which some of the klystrons work for about 60000 hours.
