Abstract
The main focus of the paper is the implementation of digital filter in real time systems, for interference rejection and SNR enhancement. Specific case has been taken for analysis viz interference in sensors, due to cell phone frequencies. It is observed that normal analogue filters presently fitted on various communication systems and sensors are not able to cater for efficient rejection of the cell phone frequencies, this maybe due to bandwidth and effective suppression offered by the analogue filter. Any alteration in such hardware is physically and financially not practical. Thus, the best answer to such a problem lies in implementation of digital filters, which are easy to implement and flexible to the change in signal characteristics (adaptive filters).
