Abstract
This paper will discuss the root causes of the often non-compliance with EMC requirements of USB2 devices. A study has been carried out to find the models with these root causes for the analysis of these non-compliances. It has been found that one of the root causes is the lack of definitions with USB2 cable requirement specifications that directly results in a large variety of USB2 (compliant) cable topologies that cannot be used EMC successfully with every application.
