  • Abstract
The FRP container is prone to formation of static electricity during transportation, handling or any other similar process. The level of static charge may rise up to 25KV and a current of approximately equal to 60-70 amps. This level is more than enough to ignite the explosives like pyros and EEDS. Therefore it is essential to protect the objects in the container from the static field. In this paper the authors mainly pointed out about the process of reducing static electricity with the ground grid and also shown the practically measured values, before and after the laying of ground grid.
