Abstract
The paper presents PDSFC (predictive direct stator flux control) algorithm for AC induction motor control, its implementation in Motorola DSP 56F805 and its validation on a real AC induction motor. It preserves the advantages of the DTC (direct torque control) algorithm that means low requirements on computational power, simple physical inside and fast dynamic response. Moreover it almost eliminates the torque and stator current ripples. It also suppresses the problems in low speed region where the voltage drop on the stator resistance is not negligible.
