Abstract :
This paper reports on the study of the load commutated inverter drive, operating with an open-switch fault in the line-side converters. To improve this faulty operation some strategies are presented, in order to decrease the harmonic content of currents and the pulsating torque of the motor. To validate the proposed strategies, experimental results are presented.
