Abstract :
Future broadband wireless communication requires the physical layer technology can be efficient in resource utilization, smooth in transition in a heterogenous system and suitable for future spectrum management policies. The interleaved subcarrier assignment is investigated in this paper. A scalable transmitter is proposed which is applicable in OFDM system as well as the interleaved OFDMA systems with various numbers of subcarriers. The frequency diversity of the interleaved OFDMA is compared with the sub-band based OFDMA.
