  • Abstract
This paper addresses the problem of complex channel impulse response identification using δ-signed correlation method [Balakrishnan et al., 2001]. These types of correlation methods are simple, robust and computationally very efficient. In this paper, channel order estimation and selection of appropriate threshold value δ are considered. The threshold selection is formulated as a detection problem assuming that i.i.d. data are transmitted and the channel outputs are Gaussian. Simulation results demonstrating the robustness of the approach are shown.
