Abstract :
Based on radiometric and radiosonde observations made at the North Slope of Alaska, during March 1991, comparisons of measured and calculated brightness temperatures are made for frequencies ranging from 23.8 to 340 GHz. Three clean air absorption models of Liebe (1987 and 1993) and Rosenkranz (1998) are used.
