Abstract
This paper reports on the results of the application of SAR interferometry to the study of a landslide disaster which happened in the Sarno area (Italy) in 1998. A DEM generated by means of an ERS-1/2 tandem pair has been compared with a topographic one allowing the identification of the areas mostly affected by the landslide.
