Abstract
This paper presents an overview of the microwave instruments currently in development under the Future Programmes of the ESA´s Earth Observation Envelop Programme. The description of the instruments will be structured according to two broad categories of future missions, i.e. the Earth Explorer and Earth Watch candidates.
