Abstract
New synchronizing circuit with automatic interleaving operation for paralleled converter system is proposed. The synchronizing circuit automatically detects the number of converters and adjusts phases between converter modules equally. It is simple analog circuit, which is easily implemented to conventional PWM controller IC. Principle of the synchronizing circuit is introduced, and influence of nonideal circuit parameters on interleaving operation are discussed. Experimental results are given to confirm analytical results. Compensator for non right-triangle oscillator in PWM IC is proposed to achieve wide-use application.
