Abstract
Two-stage OPA has been realized in single PPKTP crystal producing 1.04 mJ, 5 ns pulses at 1535 nm in a diffraction-limited beam. The peak power of 204 kW enabled generating broadband nanosecond pulses in 5 m of single-mode fiber.
