Abstract
In this paper a fine wavelength tuning properties of external-cavity short-pulse QC lasers is investigated. The experiments used an uncoated gain chip with TE-stabilization from -46 to 0/spl deg/C. The chip was used in a Littman-Metcalf cavity. A combination of coarse grating tuning and fine phase tuning allows continuous wavelength tuning in pulsed, uncoated QC lasers.
