Abstract
A new scheme of the direct-detection Doppler lidar has been developed using an eye-safe ultraviolet laser for wind field measurement of the troposphere. High spatial-resolution and multidimensional measurements of wind field and other atmospheric parameters have been realized with the compact beam-scanning lidar system.
