Abstract :
Perfect-structure air-glass holey fibers having losses 0.2 dB/m were produced. Modal profiles and group-velocity dispersion curves are presented. For the first time holey fibers with metal-filled holes are fabricated. Optical characteristics including polarization properties are presented.
