Abstract :
We propose and demonstrate all-optical 2R regeneration using a two-mode injection-locked Fabry-Perot laser diode. We show that two-mode injection locking can suppress the effect of relaxation oscillation, and demonstrate waveform regeneration at 10 Gbit/s.
