  • Abstract
    The effects of the balanced output transconductor (BOTA) parasitic elements on second-order filter parameters are studied. New expressions are used to evaluate the shifts in the center frequency and the quality factor of a recently reported mixed-mode filter, based on the balanced output transconductor. A design procedure that minimizes the effects of the parasitic elements is also included. PSpice simulations are given to confirm the theoretical analysis.
