Abstract
A selection method of locally available signals that can be used as a feedback control signal for phase shift transformer is proposed. In order to identify an effective signal the frequency characteristics analysis of system block diagram transfer function model is carried out. Conditions to be fulfilled by characteristics are defined. Also a set of five measurements available at the switching node of the PST is taken into account. Moreover, for applied linear system tool a wide range of operating conditions is considered. The features of selected signals are verified using linear optimal control by means of LQR method. Results and discussion of eigenvalues analysis of closed loop system with PST controller are presented.
