Abstract :
The consequences of massive wind generation in a power system depend on many different parameters linked with the generation installation as well as with the power system they are connected with. In the case of island networks, this article presents an assessment method of the maximal admissible quantity of wind generation, regarding power system dynamic constraints. This wind power rate depends on several parameters, including load dynamic, operating rules and wind generator technology.
