Abstract
The work illustrates a knowledge-based software tool, aimed to support industrial customers in evaluating power quality (PQ) disturbances impact on their processes. For this evaluation the customer is provided with data and information, collected from both national and international experiences in PQ field, that allows to estimate: a) the susceptibility of the industrial process to the several typical PQ events; b) the typical costs associated to common PQ disturbances. The tool implements several procedures, each dedicated to focused evaluations of either susceptibility (SENS) or cost (COST) of PQ events.
