Abstract
For prompt estimation of solar potential, a complete set, the PA system cost a simple method for a calculation of a photovoltaic system, which takes into account both meteorological conditions for the given region, and the design features. The main data represented by Russian meteorological stations are monthly sums of global solar irradiation on a horizontal surface. As a rule, hourly sums of irradiation providing quite precise calculation are used for calculation of photovoltaic systems. However, such data is seldom provided by meteorological stations, which do not collect data especially for analysis and development of photovoltaic systems. A calculation of irradiation hourly sums complicates the methods of analysis to a great extent and requires considerable input data. The paper presents a simple method of a photovoltaic system calculation on the basis of monthly sums of global solar irradiation on a horizontal surface.
