Abstract :
Up to now, no specific guidelines existed in France for the connection of PV systems in the national electric grid. In November 2001, The PV French national programme initiated by ADEME was launched. Guidelines were published nine months later to structure the programme and serve as a reference guide for all actors. This guide gathers the best practices and recommends some technical solutions for the realisation of photovoltaic plants connected to the low voltage electric grid. It aims at promoting the quality of the realised PV plants, both from performance and building integration aspects. It also aims at improving the overall quality of the plants and sharing, with all involved partners, the feedback experience gained from a larger number of installations.
