Abstract :
ClGS solar cells were prepared on the flexible stainless steels. The device structure consists of MgF/sub 2//ITO/ZnO/CdS/ClGS/Mo/stainless steel. A compound layer that contains Na was deposited prior to the formation of the CIGS layer. An efficiency of the best cell was 17.0% (Voc = 0.628 V, Jsc = 37.2 mA./cm/sup 2/, FF = 0.723, active area = 0.96 cm/sup 2/). The Voc, Jsc and FF were improved adding Na to the CIGS film and the performance of the cell was stabilized. This performance is match for the CIGS solar cell on the soda-lime glass substrate.
