  • Abstract
    With the decrease in PV cost, PV systems are growing in size. Apart from electricity, these large PV-roofs generate a large amount of heat. In a PV-thermal system (PVT system), this heat is put to use. Results are presented of systems calculations for a PVT roof, for various PVT module types (with or without cover, air or water type, closed loop or open loop). The present research has been carried out within the research program on PV-thermal collector systems at ECN.
