Abstract
Two kinds of solar radiation data set throughout Japan, for estimating output from PV systems, were prepared. One is named MONSOLA (MONthly mean SOLAr radiation data throughout Japan), the other is named METPV (MEteorological Test data for PhotoVoltaic systems). MONSOLA is the data set of the monthly mean solar radiation at 801 meteorological stations. METPV is the data set of hourly meteorological elements at 152 meteorological stations.
